Purple Mountains Majesty
Some pictures of Pikes Peak under different weather conditions. Springtime is the best time to take pictures of the mountains, the snow is still fresh but the weather is clear and sunny. I realize that these pictures may seem prosaic to people who see the mountains every day, but you'd be surprised at the number of people who moved away from Colorado and just want a glimpse of the familiar site of Pikes Peak as it normally appears. For those in the know, most of these were taken in the Briargate area.
